About this event
Chris de Burgh returns to Germany in April 2027 for a solo tour – to what he calls his “second home.” For decades, the singer/songwriter has stood for stripped-back, immersive live evenings: one artist, his voice, two instruments – and a parade of hits from “Lady in Red” to “Don’t Pay The Ferryman” and “Missing You.” Reviews consistently praise the “goosebump moments” and “more than two hours” of excitement, because he focuses on the essentials: real music without distraction.
Nine months after his last shows, the next tour leads him across the country again – fueled by mutual affection between audience and artist. De Burgh emphasizes his bond with Germany, highlighting historic cities, castles, palaces, churches, and culinary diversity. On stage, he pairs entertainer quality with precise storytelling: 323 original songs across more than five decades, released on 26 albums with over 45 million units sold, provide the foundation for a focused solo set that puts every word clearly at the center. Fittingly, “Legacy” from the musical “Robin Hood” underlines his stance: a single voice may be small, many together can achieve a lot – democracy as a lived message in concert.
Chris de Burgh tickets for the solo tour in April 2027 in München, Bamberg, Dresden, Berlin, Hannover, Monheim, Essen, Trier, Bad Vilbel, Karlsruhe, Stuttgart, Freiburg, Hamburg, Flensburg, Bremen and Münster are now available here at myticket!

CHRIS DE BURGH: Precise storytelling, stripped-back intensity
With his debut album “Far Beyond These Castle Walls” (1974), CHRIS DE BURGH gained early attention. The single “Turning Around,” released as “Flying” outside the UK, spent 17 weeks at No. 1 in Brazil. Follow-up “Spanish Train and Other Stories” (1975) broadened his audience across Europe. In Germany, his breakthrough arrived with “The Getaway” (1982). The single “Don’t Pay the Ferryman” entered the German charts and became a radio staple.
