Biography of Monster Jam
The champion drivers face off in various disciplines at MONSTER JAM, repeatedly pushing their limits. The competition features multiple rounds with different demands on the participants. Alongside classic races, exciting obstacle courses and freestyle contests are part of the standard program. To captivate fans, the fearless drivers defy gravity and deliver one adrenaline rush after another. These massive machines reach speeds of up to 160 kilometers per hour, and the monster trucks’ wheels alone are about 1.6 meters tall. During the daredevil stunts, the trucks can fly as far as 40 meters through the air and soar more than 10 meters off the ground. Combining ultimate off-road motorsport with unexpected stunts, MONSTER JAM delivers comprehensive entertainment suitable for all ages.
MONSTER JAM drivers need not only physical and mental endurance — they also must be able to handle five-ton machines safely and with precision. With skill, they perform tricks like wheelies, donuts, and cross-ups for an awestruck, roaring crowd. Before the main competition, fans can get up close to their heroes at the so-called Pit Party to take photos and collect autographs.
While it takes strong nerves to drive one of the MONSTER JAM trucks, the show itself is a must-see for everyone, young and old alike — an unforgettable experience that lingers long after.
