Experience the magic of Christmas through a timeless ballet classic: The Nutcracker enchants audiences in winter 2026–2027 with magnificent music, enchanting imagery and spectacular choreography!

This great classical ballet, set to Tchaikovsky's timeless music, will tour during the 2026–2027 season. The original production by Franceconcert, performed by the Paris Ballet Theater, is based on Petipa's libretto and Ivanov's celebrated choreography.

Inspired by E. T. A. Hoffmann's story, The Nutcracker follows young Clara, who receives a toy soldier nutcracker as a Christmas Eve present. During the night, the toy comes to life and takes her on a magical adventure. After a battle against an army of mischievous mice, the Nutcracker transforms into a charming prince and leads Clara to an enchanted kingdom where flowers blossom and snowflakes dance.

Since its premiere at the Mariinsky Theatre in St. Petersburg in December 1892, The Nutcracker has become one of the most frequently performed ballets in the world. Celebrated for its captivating music and spectacular choreography, this masterpiece continues to delight children and adults alike – making it the perfect opportunity to share the magic of the festive season with family and friends.

    About Der Nussknacker
