The magical journey into a luminous, resounding winter world begins at dusk. Biography of Christmas Garden Insel Mainau
Christmas Garden transforms the unique island of Mainau into a magical Christmas world with numerous twinkling illuminations along a circular route of around two kilometres. A visit to the Christmas Garden Insel Mainau is an experience that offers adults and children everything that makes a Christmas outing unforgettable.
Christmas Garden celebrated its premiere in Berlin in 2016. Due to its overwhelming success, further locations were quickly added, so that by 2025 there were already 13 locations in Germany and Europe. Around 1.6 million people visited the illuminated parks and gardens in 2025. In just a few years, Christmas Garden has developed into a glittering highlight that fascinates hundreds of thousands of people during the winter season.
