Biography of Christmas Garden Augsburg

Christmas Garden transforms Augsburg Zoo into a magical Christmas world with numerous twinkling illuminations along an approximately two-kilometre circular route. A visit to the Christmas Garden is an experience that offers adults and children everything that makes a Christmas outing unforgettable!

Christmas Garden celebrated its premiere in Berlin in 2016. Due to its overwhelming success, further locations were quickly added, so that by 2024 there were already 15 locations in Germany and Europe. Around 1.6 million people visited the illuminated parks and gardens in 2024. In just a few years, Christmas Garden has developed into a glamorous highlight that fascinates hundreds of thousands of people during the winter season.
