About this event
Andrea Vanzo crafts a modern, cinematic piano aesthetic where post-minimalism, modern classical and pop meet. Based in Bologna, the composer and pianist shapes pared-back motifs, clear melodies and atmospheric textures into a warm, often nostalgic musical language that spans solo piano, contemporary classical and spacious soundscapes. In October 2022, he released Intimacy Vol. 1, a collection of solo piano works inspired by emotionally charged places, nature, love, feelings and personal freedom of expression. In 2024, his first European tour comprised eight sold-out concerts, including London, Paris, Berlin, Milan, Madrid and Barcelona. The same year, his version of Song of Storms, released by Decca Records US, was recognized at the G.A.N.G. Awards in the United States. With Intimacy Vol. 2, released on October 10, 2025 via Sorboleto Lab, he continued this artistic path.
